Moving!
Okay. That's it. Got the UHaul packed. Got the car food near at hand. It's the open road and pet-friendly motels for us the next few days. If all goes well we'll be basking in California sunshine by Friday afternoon. And maybe by Saturday we'll have a place to live!

Seems I was close to loosing it last night. Today, though, things are good. We're here. We arrived! We're in our possible foothill paradise. Honestly, I went swimming in a chilly, lovely Sierra river, rapids above and below me, the sky clear and the sun on the hills golden. It was lovely. That's why we're here.
Very thankful to have made it safely. Now, if we could only find a place to live...

You must be arriving in almost peak season on the Kaweah. Will you take a boat?
