Sorry to break in on you two, but ... yeah, great review. Also I wanted to tell you that I finished Gabriel's Story over the weekend and guess what? I think it's my favorite book of yours so far! True it was "harrowing" at times, but it ended exactly right. I loved it.

Hey, cool! Thanks for that. Glad you liked it. It's funny that with books like Acacia and Pride of Carthage being "bigger" books the earlier ones seem... distant, inconsequential things. Truth is, I remain proud of them, and they continue to (slowly) find new readers. Both G's Story and Walk Through Darkness are optioned for film, so who knows - maybe there's still life in them...
