"if you need further convincing that I'm cool... I homeschool too"--- Awesome! Do you find your kids drawn to writing because you write? My kids always have a pen and notebook within reach. At any given time they are either writing or bouncing ideas off each other for their current story. My youngest, 6yo, started a 'story' today about herself and her family. So cute!

Yes, I have to admit that I found your blog because you mentioned Acacia in your sidebar to-read list. And then I thought I'd say hello because of the homeschooling connection.
Yes, my kids do think of writing and drawing and creating as fundamental things to do with their days. Sounds very similar to what your kids get up to. I love it.
