Heros

A little piece I wrote for Elbakin.net went up recently. This is me singing the praises of Ursula K LeGuin again. In French.

I love it when I do that...

Nice piece indeed.

It seems to me it says a lot about the reader.

Yes, nice piece indeed, definitely.

David,
When I applied to Stonecoast, Le Guin was one of the influences I wrote about in my admission essay. The Left Hand of Darkness is one of my all time favorites, though the Earthsea series will always hold a fond place in my heart as well.

BTW--seems I'm in workshop 1 with you this January--I'm very excited, to say the least.

It's quite a memory for me. I honestly do remember exactly where I picked that first tattered LeGuin paperback off the bookshelf...

Great to have you in Stonecoast. Very much looking forward to hanging out in January. It'll be good.
