I don't get it. Why are none of the fall book previews (Amazon.com and Time Magazine to name 2) mentioning Sacred Band? It makes me think the book isn't coming out!

David,

I've proof it's coming out. Just today I received two boxes of finished books. They exist. They're coming. And, yes, they do look great!

As to prepub previews... what can I say? There are always way more books coming out any season than ever get mentioned in such things. I've had lots of attention for books in the past. Maybe this publication won't hit those heights. I can't control that. I did write a book that I'm proud of, though. I did finish the trilogy! So, prepub hype or not, the books are there and hoping to get read.

I really can't wait for this book. It may not mean much coming from some random person, but I think you've made a masterful world and a really unique and amazing global culture. I'm planning on getting it from audible.com and hardcover
.
Looking forward to your Spartacus novel as well!

Actually, David, your words mean a lot. It's absolutely great to hear your enthusiasm for the series. Thank you for it. And please spread the word if you can!

Also, I have to admit that your interest in Spartacus is also perfectly timed. Yesterday I had tough day with Spartacus, feeling pretty overwhelmed as I slogged into it. But that was yesterday. This morning I got some very good work done. I may have found the approach to it that's going to drive me forward.

So... for you to mention that one is very much appreciated - sort of proof that all the wrestling I've been doing with it is actually for a reason...
